HHESC School Profile

Halls Head Community College Education Support Centre (HHCC ESC) was established in 2001. We cater for students with an intellectual disability from years eight to ten. The Education Support Centre is situated on the Campus of Halls Head Community College. There are three classrooms, a collegiate room and a therapy room dedicated to the ESC. We have access to the facilities of our partner school Halls Head Community College (HHCC).

Our 2005 enrolment of 40 students is drawn from the Mandurah area and as far north as Golden Bay, south to Waroona and east to Pinjarra. After completing Year 10 all students move on to continue their education at the Career Enterprise Centre or at the Enterprise Industry Program both located at the Mandurah Senior College.

We foster a cooperative and supportive learning environment that is inclusive and responsive to the needs of all students.

We aim to develop independent learners who have a strong sense of self-worth and compassion for others.

Our vision will be realised through an enduring partnership involving all members of the Halls Head Community College and the wider community.
